WOW, 3 posts in one day!  I'll make this quick!!!

Made this card for Lawnscaping's Fall Blog Hop, sponsored by Ellen Hutson and Lawn Fawn.  Here's the gorgeous inspirational photo!!!  Really made me kick myself that I don't own a pumpkin stamp!

sorry for the crappy pic.. ran out of time before work!!!!!

So, I went with flowers and tried to match the colors & wood texture.  The woodgrain paper is from Simple Stories's Harvest Lane collection.  The vase for the flowers is actually the dressform from the Sew Lovely set, and the flowers and leaves are of course from Flutter By :)

Thank you for visiting, I'll probably be back tomorrow with more cards for WCMD challenges :)  And I still have blog candy that I haven't posted (hint: it's one of the stamp sets I used on this card!).  See you soon ~

Hostess with the Mostess Project #2

Ok, made it in time!  Here's my card for Tamara's challenge, since I didn't really have any ghosts in my stash, I just drew a quick little guy on some sticky back canvas, gave him a mouth with black enamel accents and googly eyes :)  Thanks for a great week Tamara, loved all the inspiration, prizes & humor :)!!!

Ghostess with the Mostess Challenge!

Hello friends!  Hope everyone had a fabulous World Cardmaking Day!  My daughter and I created several projects for various challenges, wish I had more time but with working the afternoon shift I have to leave at 2pm :(  So yeah, didn't finish as much as I would have liked.  However, this project  was created for Tamara Tripodi's "Ghostess with the Mostess Challenge".  It's part of her "FA-BOO-LOUS" Halloween Inspiration Week!

I just recently found her blog - if you don't know of her, I would highly recommend stopping by her blog here.  She is HILARIOUS and so creative :)  Love her work!  She's accepting entries to this challenge until midnight tonight, October 7th, all you have to do is create ANYTHING with a ghost!

Emily (my 5 year old) and I had lots of fun making this Halloween door hanging with some of the gorgeous October Afternoon Witch Hazel products!  I ripped apart the box they came in, painted the corrugated cardboard with some vintage white acrylic paint, and then we had a blast adding stickers, cutting out leaves & the sweet little ghosties, inking, etc.  I couldn't get a good picture for some reason, but the trim on the bottom is a really pretty purple "Bloomer" from Webster's Pages.. much better looking in person!  Looks black here :(  And then we finished it off with some gorgeous ombre green ribbon!!  Wish I could remember where I got it, sorry about that!!  Comes in all colors and it's faboolous ;)

I might have time to post another card I made for this challenge later.  Thanks for stopping by, have a FABOOLOUS day my peeps!
