A Home Decor Piece
Hello!!
I created this cute little Halloween project for the Fall Home Decor Challenge in the Moxie Fab World !
I chose to use my absolute fave collection from last year - October Afternoon's Witch Hazel.
The frame started it's life as an ugly, broken, brownish color...But after it was sprayed with this awesome crackle spray paint I bought, you could barely see the broken edges, which makes me happy!

And a close up so you can see the crackle effect and the Studio Calico silver embossed wood veneer stars! Aren't they adorable??

How about a little giveaway???
Hello my friends!!
I feel so horrible about not keeping up with my blog :(
One of my resolutions for the New Year was to be in my scrapbook room at least twice a week. And I have accomplished that.. although I'm not always crafting while I'm there!! Too many times, I just sit and stare out the window, at a loss for direction/mojo/inspiration.. whatever! I've managed to make several cards that I am submitting so I can't post them. That's exciting huh?! Wish me luck.
Until then, I would like to have a little giveaway, sorry but it's open to US/Canada only please. The giveaway will be the below Lawn Fawn "Flutter By" stamp set - link is HERE if you want to see it on their site. A Papertrey Ink stamp that was given to customers free with purchase, and some tiny tags from Elle's Studio. I may or may not be able to throw in a few extras - I'll have to go through my stash and check into it.

January sketch challenge - The Craft's Meow
Hello everyone!!! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season!! Ours was spent warm and safe at home, spending the days in PJ's and nursing colds :( The cough is hanging on, but otherwise we are all much better and counting the days till Spring.
One of my resolutions for 2013 is to get myself into my craft room at LEAST twice a week this year!!!! The room is overflowing with beautiful products that never get used. It's such a travesty!!! My goal while in the craft room is mainly to start scrapbooking again, but it's soooooooooo hard for me to stop making cards. I LOVE THEM too much! Here are the first two I've made, I was inspired by the January Sketch Challenge @ The Craft's Meow :) Their cute stamps are so fun to work with. P.S. The jar on the first card is a beautiful water colored vellum paper from a Recollection's collection called Neopolitan.
