Our Wedding

Afternoon ladies!

Here to post a quick LO I made for a couple of challenges, the first is Amy Heller's Scrap Your Scraps Summer Challenge (week 5).  Amy's work is absolutely amazing, and when she presented this idea to use up her scrap pieces of paper, I was instantly hooked!  I have two boxes full of scrap pieces that just sit and accumulate, so this is a great way to thin it out & save money (by not buying more paper that I don't need!).  And if you see the prizes she gives away, you definitely wont want to miss out!
I've used a ton of my G45 scraps, and since this is a wedding LO (me and the hubbs), I am going to also enter the G45 Wedding LO challenge!  It's been a long time since I've made a LO, let alone one NOT of my daughter!!!!  I really had fun making this one :)  Sorry I couldn't get a closer shot - I see a lot of it is hard to see, unfortunately.

Well I hope you have a wonderful weekend, I'm off to put my little tike down for a nap and then we're headed to a festival this evening!  Hope to get some great pics to share with you :)

  1. Everything about the page is just beautiful. Just the right amount of papers and embellishments. Like the ruffled ribbon, faux stitchery and of course the theme! Hope you enjoyed the festival!

  2. Well thanks Cindy, you are too sweet!!!

  3. This is amazing work, I just love the colors!!!! Beautiful blog too!!!! Thanks for the hugs on my blog!!!!

  4. You certainly aced this challenge, Renee!! Beautiful page, and I love the ruffled ribbons too! Yes, it's a good idea to scrap yourself once in a blue moon!

  5. Hi Renee, thanks for stopping by my blog and for your lovely comment :) You have done such a great job with your scraps! the colours work beautifully with that special photo.
