Hello there :)
I created this card for the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog! The theme this week was "Love This Technique" and we were challenged to create something using a technique we love. If I had more time, there's about 50 techniques I love, but this iron-off technique was the one that popped to my mind first :)
I stamped and colored the floral image with Peerless Water Colors, then masked it off and colored the background with a pretty blue color. When it was dried, I put a piece of copy paper over top and ironed it gently to take the embossing off. It was the first time I've ever tried it and I loved it as much as I thought I would! Yay for challenges~!!
Thanks for stopping by!
Beautiful card, love your textures and colors! Thanks for joining us at Simon Says Stamp for the Monday challenge!
ReplyDeleteThis card is so Gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteHoly cow! This card is AMAZING! It really stands out as an elegant and almost magical-looking creation. Those layers of aquas and blues in the background are really stunning and those flowers are a huge WOW! I love how this has a classic elegance. It reminds me of something from long ago-- like a pattern on a china teacup. I love that type of look and this really is remarkable. Thank you so much for sharing your talents with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. I felt so inspired after seeing this piece!
