WOW, 3 posts in one day! I'll make this quick!!!
Made this card for Lawnscaping's Fall Blog Hop, sponsored by Ellen Hutson and Lawn Fawn. Here's the gorgeous inspirational photo!!! Really made me kick myself that I don't own a pumpkin stamp!
So, I went with flowers and tried to match the colors & wood texture. The woodgrain paper is from Simple Stories's Harvest Lane collection. The vase for the flowers is actually the dressform from the Sew Lovely set, and the flowers and leaves are of course from Flutter By :)
Thank you for visiting, I'll probably be back tomorrow with more cards for WCMD challenges :) And I still have blog candy that I haven't posted (hint: it's one of the stamp sets I used on this card!). See you soon ~

Hostess with the Mostess Project #2
Ok, made it in time! Here's my card for Tamara's challenge, since I didn't really have any ghosts in my stash, I just drew a quick little guy on some sticky back canvas, gave him a mouth with black enamel accents and googly eyes :) Thanks for a great week Tamara, loved all the inspiration, prizes & humor :)!!!
Ghostess with the Mostess Challenge!
Hello friends! Hope everyone had a fabulous World Cardmaking Day! My daughter and I created several projects for various challenges, wish I had more time but with working the afternoon shift I have to leave at 2pm :( So yeah, didn't finish as much as I would have liked. However, this project was created for Tamara Tripodi's "Ghostess with the Mostess Challenge". It's part of her "FA-BOO-LOUS" Halloween Inspiration Week!
I just recently found her blog - if you don't know of her, I would highly recommend stopping by her blog here. She is HILARIOUS and so creative :) Love her work! She's accepting entries to this challenge until midnight tonight, October 7th, all you have to do is create ANYTHING with a ghost!
Emily (my 5 year old) and I had lots of fun making this Halloween door hanging with some of the gorgeous October Afternoon Witch Hazel products! I ripped apart the box they came in, painted the corrugated cardboard with some vintage white acrylic paint, and then we had a blast adding stickers, cutting out leaves & the sweet little ghosties, inking, etc. I couldn't get a good picture for some reason, but the trim on the bottom is a really pretty purple "Bloomer" from Webster's Pages.. much better looking in person! Looks black here :( And then we finished it off with some gorgeous ombre green ribbon!! Wish I could remember where I got it, sorry about that!! Comes in all colors and it's faboolous ;)
I might have time to post another card I made for this challenge later. Thanks for stopping by, have a FABOOLOUS day my peeps!

One more ;)
Here's my second card made for the Simon Says Stamp and Show "Tape It Up" challenge :) More Mischievous products used and some Artisan Tape from Pink Paislee! TFL
Mischievous!
Afternoon friends!! Hope all is well with everyone :) I am enjoying a rare few hours of silence and crafting! Grandma has the little one out for a Sunday drive so I can craft a bit before work :)
Last Halloween (or was it two years ago??) I fell in love with the "Mischievous" collection from My Mind's Eye. The teal colors was what truly did it, but I love the adorable owls, pumpkins and dolls too. Finally just now getting around to making something with them!!! Horrible, I know. Anyway, I'll be entering this card in this week's "Tape It Up" challenge over at Simon Says Stamp and Show Vintage Challenge Blog! The challenge was to use washi tape, which I did under the ombre ribbon.
Thanks for stopping in and have a happy Sunday!

Co-worker Birthday Card
Hi friends,
Quick card I made for a co-workers birthday today. I'm trying desperately to get my mojo back, and the first step was to clean up my disaster of a work space, and then just diving right in! Using sketches like the one below from Love My Tapes is a great first step also :)
I'll be entering this card into the Love My Tapes June card challenge, and the Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog's "Sporty or Patriotic" challenge... I figured the red/white/kind of teal-blue along with stars and gingham stripes would work!
Thanks for stopping by and just a reminder I have a blog candy going until next week - click HERE to leave a comment and be entered.

Time for Candy!!!
Hello friends!
I did a little spring cleaning a while back and have put together some candy that I hope someone will like. The first pic is the whole lot, the next 3 are just close ups. (I think if you click on each pic it will give you a larger view). It is mostly stickers, some canvas embellishments, border die cuts, and a 12x12 of white chipboard shapes that you can't really see in the pic but it's there!)
Leave a comment if you are interested, and I will draw a winner Monday July 2nd.
You do not have to be a follower unless you want to, and international entries are welcome!!! (At first I was going to do just U.S., but I think I can handle the postage). So good luck everyone!

Gallery Idol 2012 is wrapping up!!!!
HURRY and get those cards in ladies!!!!! This is my second, hoping to make 5 total for the Paper Crafts Connection "Gallery Idol 2012" competition. The theme this time around is Encouragement cards. I am kind of limited on my encouragement sentiments, so I found a font I liked and printed it onto cardstock straight from the computer! It kind of got a bit faded after embossing with my Texture Boutique machine, but I think it should be ok. ( I hope!) The toile paper is from Glitz Designs "Pretty In Pink" collection, the gray patterned tape on the bottom is from Pink Paislee, and the lovely canvas flower is from the incomparable Maya Road.
Have a great day...we're having some pretty nice weather here in Michigan. Hope you are too! TFL

A Scrapbook Page!!!
Hi friends! I have been making cards for so long, I thought I forgot how to make a scrapbook layout! I found out yesterday that I *can* still make them! For what seems like a year, I've sat down with the intention of making a LO, and my mind just absolutely blanks! For this page though, I forced myself to work through it, and it really helped that I used the sketch for this week from the Sketch Inspiration site.
So here's the page.
And here's Sketch 318:
Thanks so much for stopping by & I hope your day is filled with scrappy alone time ;)
So here's the page.
The pictures are of my sister's Great Dane, Zeus, and her niece (my daughter) Emily sharing a sweet smooch :) It really is true what they say about Danes, they are gentle giants!!

A Lawn Fawn Card - Sending Love Your Way
Hi friends! I wanted to share with you a cute card I made with my absolute favorite stamps in the world - LAWN FAWN!!!!! The adorable postcard and sentiment are from the new "You've Got Mail" set, and the critters are from "Critters In the Snow" set. It's hard to see on camera, but the trees and critters are pop dotted for extra dimension. The Bear was colored with 2 shades of brown Copics (I really could use a class in coloring, I'm horrible at shading), and the penguin was stamped on black cardstock with Frost White ink by Colorbox, and his beak was paper pieced. I have the hardest time trying to color him, think I'll check out the Lawn Fawn gallery for ideas :) Anyway, thank you for stopping by today and hope you have a great week!

Letraset Presents April’s Virginia’s View Challenge
Good Morning!
I made this card for a challenge on "Lily Pad Cards - "Letraset Presents April's Virginia's View Challenge"!!
The inspirational photo is just gorgeous!!! Here it is:
I used Distress Inks and spritzed water for the main background panel, white embossed the flower image and then colored over it with Zig pens. I used this Penny Black stamp for the main flower image, and this Paper Trey Ink sentiment :) The yellow and brown papers are from Amy Tan's Tangerine collection found here. Machine sewed the border. **Note to self** I have GOT to get the InLinkz subscription started, so tired of searching for URL's!!
Thank you for looking and have a great day!

A Card & a Tickle Session!!!!
Hi friends!! Finally getting around to posting a card that I made for one of the sketches in the Hero Arts April Contest :) I kind of did it backwards, but I'm always hearing that you can interpret sketches anyway you like - so I must be o.k. then, right??!!! Here's the sketches ( I used the one on top)..
Here's my card:
The fantastic music note leaves are from my bestest online buddy Kathy!! The pretty die cut tag is from Glitz, the background panel is the packaging insert from some Prima flowers, and I used this Hero Arts stamp set for the sentiment. Kind of wish I would have cut around the framed sentiment now that I'm looking at it! And now for what made me happy the other night... My little one having a tickle session with her Grandma ;) Melts this momma's heart!
